We are all made of hearts, be they in white cages or black ones, we feel. When senseless killings happen among people at war, we blame it on the conflict, but America is at peace.  In this country, the police, sentinels of our democratic peace, are more afraid of death than the people they swear to protect. Everyone is permitted to make his/her case before a presiding chief in an open forum. On this forum, I write primarily for those who stand committed to the Rule of Law in Africa and to the value that our future is better determined by the government of the people, by the people, and in service for the people.
